What to Expect at Your Kitten's Vet Visits
Congratulations on your new kitten! Thank you for choosing us to help protect and care for your new addition to your family. Kittens are lively and cute, but they also have specific medical care needs. At CRVC we like to make you aware of these requirements so you can keep your kitten healthy and help them grow into happy, healthy adult cats. We are here to help you address the physical and behavioral needs of your new kitten. Our staff will spend time with you at each visit answering your questions
First Visit - Around 8 weeks of age
Second Visit - Around 12 weeks of Age
Third Visit - Around 16 weeks of Age
6 Months of Age
After bringing a new kitten home they will need time to adjust. Your goal should be to help your little one bond with his/her new family. This will help minimize stress on your new kitteb after having left their mother and littermates. At home, play, exercise, social contact, feeding, and good veterinary care are basic requirements. Your kitten will need an acceptable area for elimination and guidance using it. Behavioral training is important! Be sure to read your kitten emails that you will receive from us.
They are great! They fit me in for an emergency appointment same day and are very professional in manner. Dr Rutledge was so gentle with our furbaby pitbull Kilo and the service was phenomenal. Within 20 minutes of blood being drawn we found out he had Lyme. The pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend taking your pets to this vet. I'm beyond pleased and relieved. Thank you Cherry Ridge Vet.
