Our Customer Service Representatives are knowledgeable and effective communicators, serving both our clients and patients. They are the public face and voice of our hospital, they provide excellent and compassionate services to every client. They greet clients, answer phones, provide general information, schedule appointments, enter data into the computer, process payments, and manage medical records. From the first moment a client checks in with their pet, our Customer Service Representative's provide the warmest and most welcoming experience possible. They have compassion for the animals and understand the stress it can put on an owner. At the end of each appointment, a CSR reviews with our clients all charges, doctor's notes and directions for medications dispensed. They ensure that the owner understands the care they need to provide to their pet
We take pride in making sure our Customer Service Representative staff skills are the most up to date information in our field. We have regular team meetings to discuss policies and protocols; new equipment, services, products and client service. In addition, every year all Customer Service Representatives must complete a minimum of 7 hours of continuing education yearly.

Ashley is originally from Newburgh, NY. She graduated from Morrisville State College in 2013 with a Bachelors degree in Equine Science and Business Management. After graduation she worked as a large animal and small animal technician gaining experience in prevention care, emergency care, dentistry, surgery and customer service. She joined the CRVC team in May 2016, as a Customer Service Representative and Veterinary Technician, where she loves working in all aspects of the hospital. Her true passion is caring for animals and educating clients. She currently has one dog "Ace", a Cocker Spaniel. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking and crocheting.
Dawn joined the Cherry Ridge Veterinary Clinic's team in May 1987. Dawn is one of our Surgery Technicians and assists the doctors with routine surgeries to emergency surgery . She manages the maintenance of all surgical equipment, instruments, and monitoring devices. You may even see her smiling face at the front desk helping out our CSR staff. She enjoys the variety and interesting cases her profession brings and working with a great surgical team that provides high-quality animal care.
Dawn lives in Honesdale with her husband Tony. They have three children, Tony Jr., Shadoe, and Mayne, three grandchildren, three granddogs and two grandcats. They keep their household lively with 3 dogs, and 3 cats. Dawn's hobbies include: camping, couponing, reading, crafting, canning, and spending as much time as she can with her family both two-legged and four-legged.Dawn feels lucky to be doing what she loves everyday and enjoys how there is never a dull moment.
Elizabeth graduated from Johnson College in 2006 with an Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology and received her state certification in the summer of 2009. She was born and raised in Brooklyn NY and moved to Honesdale in 2005. Elizabeth has always had a passion for animals and feels very lucky to be in a field where she is able to help the healthy stay healthy, and help the ill get well. She greatly enjoys her position as a CSR/CVT because she has the opportunity to meet new people and pets on a daily basis and use her veterinary technician skills to educate them and build relationships. Elizabeth is happily married, with two sons Drew and Greyson. She also shares her home with three dogs named Nikki, Ozzy, and Ty, and two cats named Brody and Jayce. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys kayaking, walking, crafts, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
Jocelyn, a Licensed Veterinary Technician, graduated from Johnson College in 2013 with an Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology. After graduation Jocelyn worked at the Northeast Veterinary Referral Hospital gaining experience in emergency care. She then joined our team in November 2013. Jocelyn is an amazing asset to us, and to our patients. She has a genuine compassion for animals, and truly gives all of herself to our clients and patients. Her skill level and cross training keep her in high demand. Her professional interests include: dentistry and emergency care. Jocelyn lives with her husband, one dog named Diesel and two cats Melvin and Mabel. Outside of work Jocelyn enjoys being outdoors, kayaking, and hiking.
Katie has joined our team in October of 2014.. She has seven years experience in customer service , and loves it! She graduated from Wallenpaupack in 2008, and married her high school sweetheart, Matt. They have two daughters, and two dogs Macaroni and Chance (who were both rescues). Katie's bright and bubbly personality combined with her permanent smile are an asset to our clinic. She enjoys her time at the front desk and being a part of our wonderful team.
Katie's favorite part of working at The Cherry Ridge Veterinary Clinic is getting to see all of the different breeds and their personalities everyday.
They are great! They fit me in for an emergency appointment same day and are very professional in manner. Dr Rutledge was so gentle with our furbaby pitbull Kilo and the service was phenomenal. Within 20 minutes of blood being drawn we found out he had Lyme. The pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend taking your pets to this vet. I'm beyond pleased and relieved.
