Eric Diehl

Eric Diehl

D.V.M.

Growing up on a dairy farm in Damascus, PA, Dr. Eric can recall countless times throughout his youth when he knew he wanted to become a veterinarian. From assisting with livestock births to actively participating in the county 4-H program, Dr. Eric has been immersed in animal care for his entire life, and he wouldn’t have it any other way!

Dr. Eric began his journey job shadowing while still in high school and then went on to attend Cornell University to pursue a major in Animal Science. Upon graduation, he worked at Cornell doing research with dairy cattle at their milk quality lab. After earning his DVM from Kansas State Veterinary School, Dr. Eric joined the CRVC team as an associate veterinarian. Clinically, he finds preventative medicine to be one of the most rewarding aspects of his job.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Eric lives with his wife, Emily, on her family’s dairy/beef farm. They have a few pets, including a bulldog named Paisley and a barn-cat-turned-housecat named Leroy. They also have some miniature equines, highland cattle, and beef cows. When he’s not busy working or tending to the farm, Dr. Eric serves as a club leader in the county 4-H program.
